TruRep was created by former NBA Coach Wesley Horne to give all players access to state of the art basketball technology so they can train like a pro.

While in the NBA, Coach Horne witnessed numerous players lose life-changing contracts as a result of poor shooting form. Bad habits which were developed at an early age and only worsened with time. This was especially true for players who did not have access to professional coaches and trainers during their youth.

Coach Horne immediately began seeking a solution, and in 2012 the creation of TruRep was set in motion. After many attempts to develop something that would give players a natural feel when shooting, Coach Horne found his niche in 2014 utilizing a self made 3D printed watch. This endeavor led to a smart watch app for the Apple Watch and has been proven reliable by thousands of players in over 122 countries.

In 2021, Coach Horne became the first AIA inventor to be approved for a patent covering all wearable sports performance technology in the world.

It is now his mission to spread his love and knowledge of basketball with the cutting-edge technology he developed, TruRep.
